I agree with what you are saying about Chang, but not about Burlison. He's no idiot. He knows a ton about basketball. Frank has done a lot for 49er sports in the local media and I thank him for his efforts.
Chang seems to have some good abilities from the little I've seen of him. But he's not going to be an inside force. By size alone he'll snag rebounds but not as an inside warrior. His game is dribble penetration, outside shooting, and passing. What I hope he can also do is set screens for Plater and Gilling, defend the oppositions tall lanky guys, and learn the Monson system fast.
