Form, great understanding of marketing theory and how advertising decisions are made! When we get an average of more than 4000 butts in the seats for each home game, and serious excitement develops in the market, Jet Blue, and perhaps others will be interested.
But, off the numbers from the past several years, sponsorship would need to fall in the "charity" category right now. Its the school's job (and boosters) to generate the audience, first.

: Believe they have been or currently are...
: recall some web stuff
:
: Jet Blue has greatly increased their
: advertising under new CEO.... with a major
: emphasis on TV visibility
:
: BC and UTx get a lot of TV coverage; they
: also became pretty big with the Dodgers this
: year when they started at LAX too so that
: they have 3 airports in the market
:
: It's about impressions... you need lots of
: butts in seats and eyes on your HOME TV
: games
:
: Then there is value in 'advertising' vs.
: activation based agreements.

: JetBlue announced today they were the
: official
: airlines of Boston College athletics (see
: link below). They also made a similar
: announcement several months ago with the
: University of Texas at Austin. Both
: locations are major hubs for JetBlue.
:
: Considering that Long Beach is the West

: athletics ventured the thought to team with
: JetBlue as well?
