I'm not voting bcause I can't. but these aprcel taxes, we have them where I live too, are a way for school districts to get around Sacramento's financial malfeaseance. So we end up paying state taxes for education and local taxes for education. My fear is the school districts will beocme addicted to the parcel taxes and want or need to extend them. We are back where we were 50 years ago when the state decided it would collect all the money and divey it up to each school district. The system has become unfair because of Sacramento's inability to uphold their part of the State Supreme court ruling to level the education situation in all school districts. Another well-intentioned ruling gone awry.
