Went to a basketball officials clinic yesterday and talked to two to the three officials that worked the scrimmage, albeit only briefly as one is our Instructional Chair and the other was a guest speaker and they were pretty busy.
Both said that LB looked good as well as did the other team. At the end of a normal game SD would have won by one point. However, they played another eight minutes stanza and at the end of that LB was up by one point.
From another source I heard that LB went up by eight early using a press but at the request of the opposing coach we stopped using the press because they had not worked on press break yet.
Also heard that Phelps had 17 rebounds.
