I didn't see the USD scrimmage but one of my takes on our 10-24 scrimmage was that Chang was a little soft yet...and a little short on rebounding technique too. I expect that to improve over time. Fleming hadn't improved his footwork as much as I'd hoped...but he was bigger, no doubt. Insiders tell me that our best sets are coming from Chang high and either TJ or Gene working low. And, on the defensive end, as some one else commented....it's everyone to the boards, team effort is essential. That means there won't be too many Bill Walton or Kevin Love type outlet passes and fast breaks......our focus we'll be entirely on getting the defensive board (at least against the better teams on our schedule).
