I understand, especially USC-but it just does not happen that way. In an alley, small cash deal-for what? An offer to get an education worth $100k plus all the post grad benefits for those that can't make the NBA. I know first hand of benefits that have been offered in the past, and it is not cash to unknown people in an alley in Vegas-with all the writers that Floyd was dining with moments earlier waiting for him while he makes a transaction.
