These guys are habitually lazy when it comes to Mid Majors. They probably just took the highest rated player from their recruiting service, and didn't even take the time to consider (or take the time to figure out who were) transfers. As for the conference ranking, last year we sent our regular season and tournament champion (in short our best team) to the NCAA and got a 15 seed against the highest rated #2 seed, using my lazy theory they probably looked at this when coming up with the #21 ranking.
