UCI is just about the last venue that sells beer. For that reason alone it makes for a great road trip. It takes 20 minutes from LB to get to UCI on the 405 diamond lane. That's faster than it often takes to get to the Pyramid from some points in and around LB.
There are excellent eating places across the street from the UCI campus. Steelhead Brewery is one of them. Beer, beer, beer. Bring back beer to the 'Mid!
