Keep in mind, a verbal commitment does not stop coaches from other "scorned" programs from upping the pressure. This is a time when a lot of the "under the table" incentives are presented and often sway young athletes away from their first choice. Friends and assorted "jock sniffers" use this time to shop for better deals and pad their own pockets. We have to hope that the kids we got verbals from, along with their parents, are ethical people who do not get "buyer's remorse."
Until there is a signed LOI, there is no such thing as tampering. I like our chances and appreciate the hard work being done by DM and his assitant coaches.
