As BWC teams get better this year forward, we need to get the other western non-BCS schools in the WAC, MWC, WCC, BWC and BSC to work on putting together some type of committed pre-season schedule to play each other to 1) raise fan interest and 2) to contain costs. All it takes is scheduling just two teams in each ocnference every year home and home. This allows enough flexibility to schedule the Duke's of the world and make some real money.
For exapmple every conference team would commit to play two other teams from the other conferences, for a total of 8 games. One game would work too. And if they wanted to rank the teams in each conference to pit power against power, then it would be even better and be better from a fan viewpoint.
