Ya, when I read the column this morning I thought the same thing. Interesting after I mentioned yesterday that I thought it might be a reach for Bryon to get his number retired. I would be shocked if Jordan appeared in person, but a congratulatory video would be a nice gesture...from everything I have heard Jordan actually is pretty fond of B-Russ, they actually played together with the Wizards. If he did come out, maybe Sandra Bullock could throw up the opening tip.
Really liked the Chinese New Year idea, but I might wait to see if this kid can actually play before we develop marketing strategy around him.

: Right on Chris! That's the hype this could
: bring. It was Bob's idea of even getting
: Jordan involved and extending an invitation
: for him with plenty of free local tee times.
: Maybe Vic could sucker him into a round of
: 18. Vic loses equals a drink at Mahe,
: Michael loses equals a new soccer stadium.

: they can play a one on one game at half time

: for the most delusional idea of them all.
: With
: all this national attention/hoopla between
: Michael Jordan and Bryon Russell on
: TV/radio/youtube why not reach for the
: stars. If I'm Vic or Dave or even Monson I'm
: using every contact available to pull off
: the impossible and ask Michael Jordan to
: personally retire Bryon Russell's number at
: the pyramid. Mike likes the spotlight and
: this would be covered extensively,
: satisfying all parties involved. One in a
: million, but you have to at least try.
:
: Go easy on the lashings.
