Remembering the Steve Martin fiasco. I would caution against asking Snoop to perform. Remember he has no ties to the University.

What I would do is have Monson extend a personal invitation to Snoop to attend a practice. Then attend a Game of his choosing as a guest of Mens Basketball. Let him sit on the bence with the Players. Tell him he will be introduced to the crowd as a honored guest of LBSU Basketball.

But do not ask him to perform or for a contribution. Let him come up with that idea.
