At this point we really need to win one of two of these games. Last year we had 3 of these types of games, hung around in two of them but couldn't finish. Perhaps Dan thinks the law of averages takes over and if we can hang around enough we actually win a couple. Hopefully, the more of these you play the more comfortable you get, the better you are able to execute down the stretch. I give us a much better shot against Duke then Kentucky. Dukes talent is not overwhelming plus the game happens when school is out so you won't see the full "Cameron Crazy" effect, Kentucky has just some ridiculous "one and done" guys coming in.

: RPI is essentially 25% your teams record, 50%
: your opponants record, and 25 % your
: opponent's opponents record. Add in bonus
: points for road wins.
:
: Looking at this schedule, if we get to play
: some of the stronger teams in the 76 classic
: tourney, we could have the toughest OOC
: schedule in the Country.

: Need insight here. Theoretically, What would
: be the RPI of a team that played the top 25
: teams in the nation, lost every one of the
: games, but only by one point each?

: For it to be an rpi help, you gotta win one
: of
: these. Losing is losing, the computer
: doesn't give points for making it close.
:
: Fine line between strong schedule and over
: scheduling.
:
: Just a point.... too bad all on the road.
: PRobably very good for the budget though
: which given the morons in Sacramento is a
: very good idea this year!

: Awesome! Let's just hope we can make it a
: competitive game. If we even stay close, it
: could be a huge boost in our RPI rankings
: because we will have one of the toughest
: schedules in the NCAA.

: just got word that we got an away game with
